I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.  I will consider all your works and mediate on all your mighty deeds.  ~ Psalm 77:11-12

Dear Friends,

For many of us, June marks significant events in our lives.  With the school year completed, graduates (and parents) breathe heavy sighs of relief as new chapters unfold. Couples exchange and commemorate their vows.  As Terry and I celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary this month, we are basking in the news that we have another grandchild on the way.  These milestones are important reference points that remind us of God’s care and provision.  Scripture demonstrates the importance of remembering and celebrating milestones.

Through your impact, BrookLink equips global Christian leaders to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission.  Your financial generosity provides customized Christian leadership training to catalyze disciple making movements.  Because of you, 57,470 leaders have been trained through BrookLink!  This milestone is something we gratefully remember and celebrate.

At the 15th Anniversary Gala in May, we launched our midyear fundraising campaign.  The goal is to raise $150,000 by July 31, 2024.  We are profoundly grateful that you have given $130,000 towards this goal.  You can help to close the $20,000 gap by July 31st.  If you have not yet made a gift, I invite you to “take one step” by making a gift today.  Your gifts will be used to equip global Christian leaders to fulfill Jesus’ Great Commission, provide leaders with needed resources, and facilitate the hiring of another director.  Your financial gift is deeply appreciated and allows continued service to eager, effective, courageous leaders around the world.

While BrookLink celebrates a 15th anniversary, facilitators Dan and Lynne Green celebrate their 25th year of training with the Evangelical Theological Seminary of Prague in Czechia!  Would you believe that some of the seminary’s faculty are Dan’s former students and were in elementary school during their first trips?  This month, Dan is teaching two topics: “Shame as a Pastoral Problem” and “Love and Fear.”  Lynne explains, “The people are hungry for shame resolution and find the gifts of grace and love almost incomprehensible.”  She continues, “Fear is so prevalent in our cultures, yet we are designed to love and be loved, know and be known.  Love motivation, in contrast to fear motivation, leads towards flourishing.Dan and Lynne appreciate prayers for their students, instructors, ministry colleagues, travel, and good health.  They are photographed above during their first trip to Prague in 2000.  At that time, they did not expect to return but God had other plans, for which they rejoice!

Dan and Lynne loved serving Czechs at their first English camp in 2022!  They’re planning another camp in 2025 with church planters in Pardubice, Czechia.

In addition to leaders in Czechia, we are preparing to equip leaders in Uganda, Rwanda, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia in 2024.  Your prayers and financial investment help ensure BrookLink continues to outfit leaders to make disciples and fulfill the Great Commission.

Every blessing,

C. Lee Heyward, Founder & CEO
