“Where can I go from your Spirit?  Where can I flee from your presence?  If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.  If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will hold me fast.”  ~ Psalm 139:7-10

Dear Friends,

Like you, I love our rich, deep Christian faith.  I love pondering scriptures like these to consider how truth changes me and helps our world.  There are times when I simply need a good old psalm to remind me of the depths of God’s abiding presence and deep love for me.  I’m sure you can relate!

The famed British essayist G. K. Chesterton once wrote, “The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting. It has been found difficult; and left untried.” Sometimes our faith journey takes a difficult twist or a hard turn we didn’t quite expect. God assures us He is with us in every eventuality, whether high or low.  He grows us in the deepest depths.  It is often in those difficult moments where we stand to connect most deeply with Him.

BrookLink continues to grow the breadth of its network of disciple-making movements. Our network will grow even larger in 2024 as we conduct training in new places like Liberia and Vietnam. But growing wider without growing deeper is risky and can lead to superficiality. We rejoice that as BrookLink’s reach grows wider, we are also growing deeper. Among the ways we ensure depth is by our adherence to BrookLink’s six core values that guide and undergird what we do.

These values are the pillars of our commitment to serve God and the communities He calls us to:

Biblical Faithfulness – We are committed to ministry that aligns with God’s Word and is Christ-centered,   prayerful, and Spirit-led.

Culture of Grace – We model healthy relationships with our partners and teams, encouraging each one to attain his or her full potential in Christ.

Servant Leadership – We seek to serve our sisters and brothers around the globe at their invitation. We don’t own, control, or count anything as ours.

Collaboration – We posture to listen and collaborate with churches and organizations that are orthodox and missional. We prioritize His Bride over our brand.

Multiplication – We give priority to strategies of multiplication instead of addition that allow us to leverage our influence for greater kingdom impact.

Healthy Leaders – Healthy Churches – The health of a local church is only as healthy as its leader. We focus training on building healthy leaders, which leads to healthy churches.
