Happy 2023! I trust your new year holds expectant joy. Thanks to so many of you, our $110,000 year-end matching gift challenge was not only reached, but by God’s grace, exceeded!
Your thoughtful investment in Majority World church leaders is simply amazing. Because of your intentional kindness, we move into 2023 with immense gratitude for all God provided through you. Thank you for your generous support of this challenge and the mission of BrookLink. These funds will be used to outfit and equip church leaders to serve their communities in contexts they are familiar with.
As a result of your giving, South Asia leaders like Ritma can continue to grow her God-given talents. Eight years ago, Ritma attended our first ever BrookLink pastors conference in a country where just 3% of the population identifies as Christian. Through this identification, brave believers enter a reality of persecution we in the West can’t imagine. I saw Ritma again this past November at BrookLink’s conference where she told me, “The teaching I received years earlier with BrookLink ignited in me a passion to go on and do further theological studies overseas.” She also cheerfully served as Pastor Keith Doyle’s interpreter during his teaching on “The Prodigal Son.”
90% of Majority World church leaders have no access to biblical training, but because of your heart, Ritma is now better equipped to pour into the community where God has called her. She is also greatly encouraged by the rich fellowship she gets to enjoy at conferences where BrookLink is invited, a gift vitally important for her own well-being.
On behalf of our board of directors, trainers and staff, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your financial generosity and for your abiding prayers. We just could not do what we do without you and the sacrificial choice you make to equip leaders like Ritma.

- China is slowly re-opening and for now, I plan to teach Chinese pastors with my friend, Pastor Erik Burklin serving with China Partner, via Zoom next month.
- Pastor Ian Lawson and I are busy preparing to serve with Reaching Indians Ministry International (RIMI). At the invitation of RIMI’s president, Rev. Saji Lukos (pictured to your right)
, from March 9- 29, we will train and equip students, pastors, church planters, and leaders throughout North India. In addition to providing tremendous humanitarian assistance, RIMI has planted 12,000 house churches across 29 Indian states and in neighboring countries of Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka. Ian and I will have the privilege of training these church-planting missionaries, pastors, and church leaders through leadership conferences in 5 cities. - Internationally, BrookLink has also committed to training pastors in Uganda, Armenia, and Romania in 2023. We also have numerous engagements to teach at church missions conferences around the US.
My friend, none of this is possible without you. I am so grateful for your generosity. I am so grateful for your compassion for brave church leaders who simply want to follow God’s call to the best of their ability. Thankfully, you help them be the best they can be so may look forward to hearing those cherished words from our Lord Jesus, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Thank you for serving Him and for serving them.
