GOD USING YOUR FRAGRANT OFFERINGS
Dear Faithful Friends,
Thank you so very much for your continued prayers, investment and support of BrookLink. While the world constantly changes, the needs of the global church remain. Together, our mission continues – to strengthen churches and gospel movements by equipping, empowering and releasing leaders. While we cannot be with our partners in person, we are connecting with them virtually and helping as we are able.
Last month we shared how your financial support is helping believers in the Middle East and with virtual Bible Camps in Turkey. This month, I’m excited to tell you about our partnership in India where we serve with the Hindustan Bible Institute (HBI) in Chennai. Lee has traveled and taught there, as have facilitators, Drs. Paul and Lisa Sinclair, many times over the past ten years. HBI is now offering all of their courses online. Its President and Director, Rev. Dr. Paul (Bobby) Gupta, presented us with the need for ten laptops at $800 each. Hear Reverend Bobby’s message praising God for you:
This is a tangible way by which BrookLink can support this strategic ministry during our physical absence. We are experimenting with virtual teaching with a few of our partner ministries. Paul Sinclair is currently teaching a course on Spiritual Formation for HBI by video link, while Lisa Sinclair is teaching a course on Grief and Trauma by video link. Watch as Paul and Lisa Sinclair speak of their involvement with HBI over the years and how this current project has unfolded:
God is at work in India! As a national leader, Reverend Bobby has insight into what is happening on the ground. Jesus is building His Church, as He promised He would, even in the midst of a pandemic. Praise the Lord!

Thank you for entrusting us with your gifts. We seek to steward them well, and to report honestly to you. As Paul expresses in his “thank you” letter to the Philippians: “They are a fragrant offering, and acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God” (4:18).
Later this month, we are offering a webinar for our global partners: “Living Well Amongst Loss and Trauma: Grief and Lament”. Dr. Dan Green, one of our facilitators and practicing clinical psychologist, will speak on this topic with specific application to the pandemic. Our global partners are impacted, even more than we are, by the restrictions of Covid-19. Please continue to pray for our overseas partners and the churches they lead. You are loved and appreciated.
Shalom,
Ian Lawson, President
