When we take the time to connect and give thanks for our salvation in Christ, we reunite with the meaning of Christmas and find gratitude in our hearts. Terry and I welcomed our 6th grandchild, Benjamin Warren Heyward, on December 18! Our son Drew and his wife Taylor are overjoyed with their first child’s arrival. December babies do well to remind us of Mary’s baby Jesus whose birth we will celebrate in just a few more days. Snuggly, squishy bundles of sweetness, we can hardly wait to meet little Ben in person.
But we aren’t the only ones to enjoy a new little one.
Louise Warren, Chair of BrookLink’s Board of Directors, welcomed her first grandchild, Margaret James Warren on December 13. And incoming President, Ian Lawson, is thrilled to become a grandfather for the 15th time when Jack William Watson arrived on December 2.

We have over a dozen invitations to travel in 2020, including Ethiopia, Armenia, India, China, the Czech Republic and Pakistan. We forge ahead as God leads and trust in His provision.
