THANKFUL FOR THE YEAR AHEAD

Dear Friends,
It is a blessing to enter into these initial months of 2015 with a palpable sense of excitement and enthusiasm for what the year ahead will bring for BrookLink. But lest I allow my enthusiasm to get ahead of me, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the role you played in the success and support of BrookLink in 2014.
Because of your faithful generosity, BrookLink finished 2014 in the black, achieving 94% of our annual budget. Your kind gifts in the closing months position us well for the year ahead. When we look at the stories of the amazing transformation that God effected in the lives of the church leaders we equipped last year, we can only conclude it has been an exceptional year, because of you!
2015 is off and running! On February 25, 2015 I will depart for Cape Town, South Africa for 10 days. Once again, in partnership with my friends John and Barbara Doyle of Cape Missions International (CMI), BrookLink will provide training for church leaders across this beautiful city.
For over 10 years CMI has demonstrated Jesus’ love by its commitment to the poor and its resourcing and training of church leaders who serve in townships in and around Cape Town. This will be BrookLink’s third trip to Cape Town since 2008.
For updates on our journey and learn more about our ministry in Cape Town, we invite you to follow us on Facebook.
Additionally, I continue to serve in an Interim role at Meadowbrook Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Last weekend I launched an 8-week message series on the Lord’s Prayer entitled: PATTERNS: Discovering the Art of Prayer! I invite you to listen to the sermons or visit Meadowbrook’s website to learn more about location and service times.
Thank you once again for your investment in the lives of global church leaders. Your gifts will ensure that church leaders are equipped and empowered and people will know the integrity of God’s Word.
Every blessing,
PS: Oh, and one more thing—mark your calendars for Sunday evening April 19, 2015. We will once again host our annual “Windows to the World”gathering at Meadowbrook Church. And new this year for our friends in the Chicagoland area: a second “Windows to the World” event on Sunday evening April 26th at Winnetka Bible Church in Winnetka, IL. Bring your friends and come hear stories of God’s amazing work around the world.
